A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Health and Alphaiota in December 2022, with the aim of advancing artificial intelligence and innovation in healthcare through data annotation, AI solutions, and the establishment of a Safe Innovation Incubator Environment (Sandbox).
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Non-Oil Revenue Center, Alphaiota developed a comprehensive financial model and operational framework for the Sandbox, positioning Alphaiota as a strategic partner for future public-private revenue-sharing projects in healthcare.
The agreement covers the following areas of collaboration:
- Assessing healthcare sector needs and advising on data annotation requirements
- Establishing a dedicated AI lab (Sandbox) to support healthcare innovation
- Conducting AI training programs and workshops, including consultancy on AI solution development and incubation
- Providing business development advisory services on structuring healthcare data to attract AI and analytics investments
- Conducting local and international benchmarking to develop revenue-sharing business models
